Conversion Rate Optimization seems intimidating to a lot of people, I think. 🫣
Perhaps it's because of the name, the description people usually give, the complexities of the work...or something else.
There are a few ways I've been breaking it down recently in hopes of making it simpler and more approachable.
The last thing I want is for businesses to be too scared or intimidated to do it. This is one of those ways. ⬇️
The visual doesn't apply just to CRO, and I'm sure there are many other names and versions out there.
This is resonating with me right now though.The concept is really about optimization more generally and a strong, understandable process for going about it.
We learn. Take action on the learnings. Understand the outcomes. Learn more. Take action on the learnings. Understand the outcomes...so on and so forth.
